This is my First!

Well this is my first time to ever blog... or whatever! To begin I would like to say this is all about Mr.Man... Grayson Oliver Mathews! He is my world! He is the cutest little man that is just the happiest baby in the world! Even when he is so sleepy he can barely keep his eyes open if you talk to him he will smile! He is such a special little guy! Lets see... a little history! Grayson was born on July 15, 2008 at 10:11 pm weighing 6 lbs and 6.6 ozs and 19 iches long... he was my little devil child! He was born 3 weeks early and was in the NICU for observation for 5 days! Those were the longest 5 days in my life but luckily since my blood pressure was so out of control becuase of the pre-eclampsia I stayed in the hospital with him up till the day before he got discharged! So at least I was not that far from him! Well he was born small but he has grown into such a big man! He is now 5 months old and is 19 lbs... 27 1/2 inches... and wears 6-9 month and some 12 months clothes... he is really a BIG boy now! I mean the first month he was in new born clothes cause he was so small! I can't wait till we start solids to see how much bigger he will get, but we are just breastfeeding till 6 months then will slowly start food at 6 months. We are in no rush as I am enjoying having a baby!
Well, right now his likes are... jumperoo... his play mat... his mommy... and his paci! He doesn't really have any favorite toys even though the child wants for nothing... I think I have bought everything! But he is more interested in a blanket... I swear if I covered him with just a blanket he is entertained for a while but get him to play with a toy and he is bored after a few minutes!
He loves to take pictures! Or I love to take pictures of him... so I guess that counts! He loves when anyone talks to him doesn't matter what they are saying as long as they are paying attention to him!
He is not really rolling over yet but I am not worried! He can sit up un-assisted for a few minutes... and he will roll when he is ready! I think his fat rolls get in the way and he is such a happy baby... he loves to be on his tummy so why is he going to roll to his back... and he likes to be on his back cause he normally will look around at the fan or whatever... so he see no reason to roll! He does scoot by flinging his body back till he starts to move... he can move a pretty good distance!
